Kieran Low leaves Glasgow

Glasgow have announced that second-row forward Kieran Low has left the club.

The 25-year-old Scotland international spent most of last season on loan at Saracens, joining the English club in December after making three appearances for Warriors in the first part of the campaign.

Meanwhile, head coach Gregor Townsend is excited about the prospect of playing on artificial grass at Scotstoun next season.

Work is well under way to replace the pitch following a series of postponements during the wet winter.

Townsend told the Warriors' official website: "We can't wait to have our first training session and game on that pitch.

"It means we will no longer be fearful of games being called off due to wet weather. It also means we will be able to play on a consistent surface that promotes fast rugby.

"All of the work we did in block one of pre-season is all about playing a high tempo game in attack and playing a game in defence that allows us to put lots of pressure on the opponents. The new pitch will help us do that."
