Edinburgh back-rower Marcus Bradbury reckons the Murrayfield outfit's troubles this season are self-inflicted.
The Gunners looked in command early on against Leinster last week but a lapse in focus ended up costing them dear as the Dublinners regained control on their way to a 33-20 triumph.
It was a similar story of concentration slips on the opening day of the Guinness PRO12 season as Cardiff Blues emerged with a 34-16 victory.
Bradbury and co now face Munster in Limerick on Saturday but the flanker is determined his team will learn from their mistakes.
He said: "We haven't changed much but we have gone over the points we need to improve.
"It is pretty obvious what we need to do to bounce back this weekend. At times against Leinster we just lacked concentration and an urgency to get into position. It was a frustrating game.
"We started so well, it was just a shame about that 20-odd minutes in the first half. We allowed them to come back into it and score two or three tries in quick succession. It was our own fault really."
Bradbury knows Thomond Park will be an unforgiving venue this weekend but reckons Edinburgh can prevail so long as they start on the front foot.
"We will need to beat them up front," he said. "They have got a big strong pack, but I'd say we do as well.
"Whoever gets the upper hand at the set-piece is ultimately going to win the game.
"We have to make up for last week and then carry on from there. With that expectation that it is going to be a hard place to play comes the need to rise to that.
"I think we will [rise to the occasion]. We always seem to. I have just got a feeling, I think we will."
Meanwhile, head coach Alan Solomons has made seven changes to his starting line-up.
Three changes come in the backline, as try-scorer against Scarlets and Leinster Michael Allen moves from wing to centre with Damien Hoyland - who returns from a groin injury to make his first appearance of the season - starting in the number 14 jersey.
Allen is joined in the centre by Chris Dean, who comes in for the injured Phil Burleigh.
Sam Hidalgo-Clyne is set to wear the number nine jersey for the first time this season in place of the injured Nathan Fowles.
The remaining four changes in the pack will see Kevin Bryce makes his full Edinburgh debut at tighthead prop, while Stuart McInally is named at hooker and captain of the side.
Fraser McKenzie comes in at lock in place of the rested Grant Gilchrist while Cornell Du Preez makes his first start of the season at number eight.
