Bath flanker Francois Louw has been charged by the Rugby Football Union over an incident involving Northampton's Courtney Lawes.

The South African was cited for allegedly making "contact with the eye(s) or eye area" of England lock Lawes during his side's 15-14 defeat at Franklin's Gardens on Saturday.

He will appear before a three-man disciplinary panel chaired by HHJ Euan Ambrose in Bristol on Thursday.
