Wigan fans know all about England prop Burgess, Man of Steel Hastings and established Super League recruits Jake Bibby and Mitch Clark. Their three pre-season games – against London Skolars, Leeds Rhinos and Leigh Centurions – have also given supporters a glimpse of Kai Pearce-Paul.Burgess and Hastings are elite players in their prime, something head coach Adrian Lam missed last season, when Wigan still recovered from an horrific winter to reach the penultimate hurdle.
