Walker signs new Ospreys deal
Scotland international wing Nikki Walker has signed a new two-year contract with the Ospreys.
The 27-year-old has become an integral part of the Liberty Stadium region's squad since moving to Wales from the now defunct Border Reivers in 2006, and will now remain with the Ospreys until at least 2012.
Walker, who has 15 caps to his name but has not featured for his country since the autumn international victory over Canada in 2008, has made 74 appearances in his four seasons in Swansea and is the second-highest tryscorer in the region's history with 26.
The Aberdeen-born wing said: "It was a very easy decision for me to make, particularly with things going so well this season.
"We are top of the Magners League and through to the last eight in Europe so it's an exciting time for the Ospreys, as far as the rugby side of things is concerned I didn't have to think too hard about signing a new contract.
"The coaching team is excellent, probably the best that I've ever played under, and I'm pleased that I'm going to get the opportunity to work with them for the next two seasons."
