Peacock lauds awesome England crowd

England captain Jamie Peacock has described the fans that turned out at
Huddersfield's Galpharm Stadium to cheer on England to a 20-12 victory
against New Zealand as "awesome" and called for a massive crowd to turn
out for next Saturday's final.
A vocal crowd of 19,390 created a superb atmosphere inside the Galpharm
as England, thanks to two tries from Peter Fox and one from Kyle
Eastmond, set up a Gillette Four Nations Final against Australia at
Elland Road.
"The crowd were awesome," Peacock told the Gillette Four Nations
website. "They've been great for us and they need to be great for us
again next week.
"If we can get 30 or 40 thousand inside Elland Road and get them behind us it'll be fantastic."
As well as praising the supporters, Peacock was also full of praise for
his team-mates who helped defeat the World Champions. He also called on
Tim Sheens and his Kangaroos side to not just respect England's
forwards but also their backs.
In the build-up to last week's game at the DW Stadium a whole host of
Australian star players including Billy Slater and Jarryd Hayne
admitted that although they knew lots about the likes Adrian Morley and
Sam Burgess they knew nothing about England's backline apart from their
names - a fact not lost on the England captain.
"I think the Aussies should respect all our players," said Peacock. "We've got a great team. The backs have been great as have the
forwards. It's been a real team effort from everybody.
"The Kiwis are a good team but now we've got the Aussies next week. We want to go and get them.
"It's for us to go and perform next week and build on our previous performances."
Tickets for next Saturday's Gillette Four Nations Final between England
and Australia at Elland Road, Leeds are still available and prices
start from £20 for adults and £10 for concessions.
