Elwood takes over Connacht post
Eric Elwood has been appointed as the new coach of Irish province Connacht.The appointment of the former Irish international was confirmed at a press conference at the Sportsground in Galway on Wednesday morning.
Elwood will take over from Michael Bradley at the end of the season and will confirm his backroom team in the coming weeks.
Elwood, who made 168 appearances for Connacht, has been assistant coach for the past four and a half years.
Bradley announced in November that he would step down after seven years in charge of the Galway-based side.
