Charge Could See Green Miss Derby

Hull KR prop James Green is in danger of missing the derby with Hull FC on Thursday after being accused of a shoulder charge.

Green has been charged by the Rugby Football League's match-review panel with a grade B offence on St Helens' former Hull KR stand-off Travis Burns during Rovers' 24-20 win over the champions at KC Lightstream Stadium on Friday.

Green's team-mate Darrell Goulding has been charged with a minor grade A trip on Saints centre Jordan Turner in same game and is unlikely to receive a ban.

Catalans Dragons full-back Morgan Escare is facing a grade B charge of making dangerous contact on Leeds hooker Rob Burrow in the closing stages of his side's 38-22 home defeat on Saturday.

The panel also handed down a formal caution to Leeds stand-off Liam Sutcliffe for making dangerous contact on Escare moments earlier.

Green, Goulding and Escare have until 11am on Tuesday to submit early-guilty pleas.
