Argentina international back Lucas Amorosino has signed for Cardiff Blues, the Celtic League club announced Tuesday.
The 28-year-old, who can play wing or full-back, has agreed a Blues deal until the end of this season.
He has made 37 appearances for Argentina, most recently in Rugby Championship games against New Zealand and Australia, and also featured during the 2011 World Cup.
Amorosino joined Leicester in 2009 before spells with French clubs Montpellier and Oyonnax.
"Lucas has a lot of international experience and can play on the wing or at full-back, so he certainly strengthens our options," Blues rugby director Mark Hammett said.
"Lucas is contracted to us until the end of the season, and there is an opportunity to extend that for longer if we feel it is a good fit for both of us."
