Italy replace injured Geldenhuys with Fuser

Benetton Treviso second row forward Marco Fuser has been called up for Italy's opening two tests of the upcoming Six Nations tournament following the withdrawal of Quintin Geldenhuys, it was announced Thursday.

South African-born lock Geldenhuys was forced out of the Azzurri squad this week with knee ligament damage.

The Italian Rugby Federation called Fuser, who has two previous caps, up for their opening two games at home to Ireland on February 7 and away to England a week later.
