England rugby coach Eddie Jones ran his eyes over Gareth Southgate's football squad on Friday.
The Three Lions are looking to build on a promising display in the midweek 1-0 friendly loss in Germany when they welcome Lithuania on Sunday in what should be straightforward World Cup qualifier.
England's preparations for the Wembley encounter continued at The Grove on Friday, when Southgate's men were visited by England rugby coach Jones.
The Australian, who watched a session at St George's Park during Roy Hodgson's England reign, spoke to players and staff as well as watching the session in Hertfordshire.
Last month Southgate visited Pennyhill Park to see the rugby union team's preparations for the crunch clash with Wales.
Jones' men went on to win the RBS 6 Nations but Ireland last weekend ended their 18-match unbeaten run and Grand Slam hopes with a 13-9 victory - a visit and end result that taught Southgate invaluable lessons.
"I learned a lot," he said of his visit to the England rugby team.
"The detail of the way they work was impressive.
"A lot of individualised work in training - huge emphasis on physical capabilities, physical training.
"They had a weights session, a sessions in their units for forwards and backs, split handling - then a session in the afternoon when they were in a game.
"He did a lot of work when the game was in a mess; stuff in transition rather than when teams are set.
"And the culture in rugby I think we can take something from.
"They get the players to present the opposition analysis, rather than it being fed by the coach.
"There's a lot of stuff we've begun to implement that in our young teams already - because we've been to other rugby environments and seen them work.
"And of course he has a winning mentality - he is constantly asking for more.
"They were 18 games unbeaten and I saw his quote saying we are nowhere near ready to win a World Cup.
"He recognised what the end looks like and what that environment needs to look like."
