MIKE BROWN: Roared his delight when scoring in the first half and this was trademark Brown. 8

ANTHONY WATSON: Showed his footballing skills with the delicate chip that set-up Brown's try. 8

JONATHAN JOSEPH: Becoming a very good defender, but would surely like to see more ball in attack. 8

OWEN FARRELL: Must surely be knocking on the door of world class after this man-of-the-match performance. 9

JACK NOWEL: Stripped the ball from Israel Folau in a feat of remarkable skill and athleticism. 8

GEORGE FORD: Attacked the line with intent in the first half and although he faded in influence, this was a turn that bodes well for the future. 8

BEN YOUNGS: Now beyond doubt England's number one scrum-half and this was another fine shift. 8

MAKO VUNIPOLA: Hard to improve on his heroics in Melbourne but almost managed that at Allianz Stadium. 8

DYLAN HARTLEY: The decision to appoint him captain appears better judged with each game. 8

DAN COLE: Crossed for a rare try and this has been a series to remember for the Leicester tighthead. 8

MARO ITOJE: Moved effortlessly into the back row when required, a player of dizzying potential. 8
